  • This Bills team was very talented but had too many egos. I remember Bruce Smith proclaiming himself to have "surpassed" Lawrence Taylor as the best defender before their Superbowl matchup. Even if it was true; he should have let someone else say that. There was also a stupid argument between Andre Reed and Thurman Thomas over who was the "Michael Jordan" of the Bills. Such unnecessary distractions are often the difference between winning and losing.

  • I was stuck in a midtown Manhattan office doing transcription for $12 an hour so I couldn't even listen to the first half. I go outside and I hear "But it won't matter…" Score was 41-3 I had 50 on Buffalo was very happy.

  • The high point of those great Buffalo Bills teams. When that offense was on, this was a fun team to watch. And they didn't need the current rules to run up points on a team lol.

  • A damn shame the 1990-93 bills couldn't win a super bowl. These bills teams could've been a dynasty.

  • Love watching the Hall of Famer Jim Kelly sling the rock in his prime. The way he delivers those low spirals straight to his receivers gut, making it nearly impossible for the pass to be broken up/contested. He evades tacklers and is pretty light on his feet as well, he won’t beat many defenders with his quickness after leaving the pocket but Jim was one of (and still is) a superb thrower while on the run. Whether it’s his low, super accurate 5-10 yard bread & butter throws that move the chains or his long bombs that show off his great arm strength it’s a sight to see. He played all of his 11 NFL seasons in Buffalo. During those years he went to 5 Pro Bowls, was named an All-Pro 3 times, NFL leader in Passer Rating in 1990, NFL leader in TD passes in 1991…plus holding every single franchise QB record when he retired. Oh, and he led his team to 4 Straight AFC Championship Victories & 4 Straight Super Bowl Appearances (I know they didn’t win any of those SBs but it’s still an incredible feat). He’s a Hall of Famer and then some. Cool to see

  • Just came across this posting. How the bills with this group of talent could not win any of those 4 superbowls is just unreal. It must suck for buffalo fans to have to remember the 4 superbowls they lost. Especially the missed chance with a simpleGiants

  • Still boogles the mind that the Bills did not win AT LEAST one of those four Superbowls 90 was probably THE best shot they had..maybe just five yrs closer and Norwood hits that FG and 93 ,,was definitely their best played SB (especially on defense ) out of the four losses ..if not for the Thomas fumble that Dallas returned for a TD that game was still anybody's contest .

  • 53 wide right…… Damn Norwood that was the theme of the last two games in those playoffs! This one not so devastating at about 53:00 in but dude repeated that at the wrong time a few weeks later…. This Bills team was so talented and fun to watch, man they were stacked and should have won a title IMO. They had a good shot vs. New York but the last 3 Superbowls forget it they wre WAY outmatched.

  • The Giants beat a great 49ers team to get to the Bowl, but they won on a last second field goal.
    Giants: 15
    49ers: 13
The Bills absolutely obliterate the Raiders
    Bills: 51
    Raiders: 3
